I’m a multi-passionate entrepreneur.
I asked myself last week why I have accepted being the “best-kept secret” when I am great at what I do. I think the answer that I received today is that I am not shouting this from the rooftops because I haven’t decided what I TRULY what to be known for at this season in my life. I am the queen of “connecting the dots”, but just because I do something well or enjoy it doesn’t mean I want to be known for it.
I believe that we all should do work that feeds our hearts, minds, and wallets. I believe that we should be paid well to do the things that we love and that comes naturally to us, but the truth is that I can’t pay bills with a grateful heart. I can’t impact the world with a pat on the back. I can’t improve the quality of life for people globally by accepting compliments and congratulations. I am no longer ashamed to say that I am in this work for the outcome and the income because money is essential to building my platform.
I am always receiving new opportunities, but today I commit to focusing on my purpose and calling. Today I commit to giving up the good for the great. Today I commit to leaving my comfort zone and following God’s plan for my life, Today I commit to distracting the distractions and walking faithfully into my destiny.
