Earlier in 2023, New Edition blessed their fans with the Legacy Tour to commemorate 40 years since the release of Candy Girl. Legacy is such an appropriate descriptor – I have literally grown up with New Edition. They are my favorite group of all time – as you likely already know. No other group has had the type of solo and collective success – Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Bobby Brown, and Bell Biv Devoe (BBD). I had the pleasure of attending the Legacy Tour in my hometown in Washington, DC, and traveling to Atlanta to attend with one of my sandbox besties. I’m an original “NE4Lifer”!
I love that I was able to spend my daughter’s 30th birthday with her in the hometown of New Edition, Boston, MA this week. She was raised on New Edition from conception LOL.
