Commit To Grow

All living things are continually growing. To be truly alive you must keep growing personally, professionally, and socially. If you cease to grow in your thinking, career, or relationships you have begun the decomposition process. Life doesn’t stand still – it is not stagnant. You are either moving forward or moving backwards.

With that in mind it’s time to make a firm commitment to invest in you repeatedly and continue on the personal development path. Does that make you nervous? No need to be nervous. We make commitments every day – to call our aging parents, to take our kids to the circus, to meet that deadline at work. Sometimes it seems easier to keep our commitments to other people but you can make a decision today to show yourself the same respect and dedication you show others. Whether that means eating better, exercising more, beginning the job search process, continuing your education, or starting a business it all starts with a thought. Thoughts lead to actions. Resolving to stay committed to the promises you make to yourself will help carry you through discouragement, frustration, doubt, and obstacles.

Are you committed?

“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.” -Vince Lombardi

“It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.” – Zig Ziglar

“Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek.” -Mario Andretti
