Well, the two old, rich, white men agreed to a presidential debate last week. I did not watch! There was nothing either of the two of them could say or do that would change my vote if these were our top two candidates.
Just like in 2020, I didn’t need an old, rich, white man to save me from an old, rich, white man. I really think they both should retire, and all Congressional seats should be forced into an election year.
Super rich conservatives have bought a candidate. Do you know about the Heritage Foundation? They want limited government only for themselves. They want total and complete control – not checks and balances. Have you heard of Project 2025?
And I support Supreme Court Justices having term limits. We need a complete do over because this path of destruction we are on is shockingly horrific.

What America do they want to return to? When was America great?
Was it when Indigenous people were tricked, raped, slaughtered, and their land stolen?
Was it when Africans were kidnapped, raped, brutalized and forced to build this country for centuries for free?
Was it when young girls were forced to be child brides without any legal oversight?
Was it when the immigrants who stole the land denied other immigrants legal entry into the country?
Was it when rich, white sons were dodging the draft and all others were losing their lives or returning with PTSD, addiction, and physical injury?
Was it when Black people were forced to use back doors and separate water fountains or when they were hanging to their death from trees while white families gathered to teach them a lesson?
Was it when Black neighborhoods were being bulldozed to build parks and highways?
Was it when white men faced no punishment for housing discrimination, domestic violence, stealing wages, sexual assault, or illegal firing?
Was it when Brown people could be hired and exploited as nannies, landscapers, dishwashers, factory workers and were still restricted from the Supreme Court?
Was it when women stayed in abusive marriages because of religious pressure, inability to get a job to care for themselves, lack of education, laws prohibiting them from getting bank accounts and credit in their names, no birth control options, lack of legal protections, and a bunch of babies with no way to feed them?
Was it when crack and guns were dropped in inner cities?
Y’all better wake up and wake your family and friends up!! Your literal freedom is at stake – that is not an exaggeration or a test!
It’s time to stay WOKE or this may be America’s last Independence Day celebrating freedom.
