My Black Woman Response to the 2024 Election

I’ve been a Black woman in the United States of America for 51 years. Here is my honest response to Kamal Harris losing the Presidential Election last night:

😱Surprised/Shocked? Absolutely NOT!!
🥺Sad/Disappointed? Not Really
😡Angry/Disgusted? A Little
🫣Scared/Fearful? No, studying the playbook. They gave us their blueprint.
🇺🇸Our ancestors have been here before and experienced much worse. I saw the shift happening when Barack Hussein Obama ran for President and the Tea Party Movement was formed.
-The Republican machine functions as a machine because the goal is winning by any means necessary. You can’t fight a two-party system by ignoring the two-party system.
•Project 2025 was being implemented before we knew its name. (Book bans, etc.)
-LOCAL elections matter.
•Single issue and uninformed voters are a large demographic.
-The destruction of our education system was happening when a lot of children were left behind under No Child Left Behind.
•There is a huge disconnection from and ignorance of our history that must be addressed in this generation lest we keep repeating cycles.
💪🏽We get to be anxious, sad, disgusted, perplexed…but we also have to REGROUP…soon!!
🏈 The Democrats who are still in office need to play offense and defense.
