The Proof Is In The Portfolio

First semester report cards have been issued and it’s time to implement the second semester academic plan.

  • How did the first semester go?
  • Is your teen’s first semester report card in their portfolio?
  • Has the permission form from that interesting field trip been added?
  • What about the flyer from that life skills course?
  • Do your teens have a second semester academic plan?

I believe that a Packaged For Success™ Program portfolio is essential. Many people think you just put documents in a binder or folder — not so. You have heard the saying “the proof is in the pudding” right? Well, some of the proof is in the portfolio but that isn’t enough. A portfolio is a living project. Everything included in the portfolio should be relational. A portfolio should tell the story of your academic, professional, and/or service life.

Enroll your teens in our Packaged For Success™ Youth Portfolio Development Program and let us guide them through the process of building a meaningful portfolio and help them understand how to present the portfolio to others. The real proof is in their explanation of the portfolio.
