This Isn’t a Social Work Pivot, It’s a Reclamation of My Full Identity

After two decades of teaching, training, hiring, supervising, and leading multigenerational, multidisciplinary teams, I’ve come to a simple but powerful truth:

You can’t separate you from your work.

Leadership is not just a professional responsibility, it’s a deep personal relationship with how you live, lead, and love yourself.

I’ve told my truth about burnout and compassion fatigue.

I’ve promoted self-love, self-care, and self-preservation in my coaching, classrooms, and consulting.

I’ve modeled softness, slowness, and sustainability as strengths, even when it wasn’t popular.

But for years, that truth lived in the backdrop of my professional identity.

Now, I lead and teach fully from it.

Because great leadership isn’t just about competence — it’s about your capacity.

It isn’t just about strategy, it’s about sustainability.

It isn’t just about results, it’s about regeneration.

This isn’t a professional pivot from social work.

It’s an evolution. A reclamation. An integration of who I’ve always been.

Social work is my foundation.

It shapes my lens of how I see the world and how I serve. It taught me that compassion, systems, and liberation must coexist.

Leadership is my superpower and my purpose.

It’s how I empower, not overpower. It’s how I transform, not just transact.

Liberation is the outcome of wholeness.

Because when we lead from a place of truth, we reclaim the identity we were never meant to lose.

This is the core of my work as a Leadership Strategist:

  • To help high-performing Women of Color shift from hustle to wholeness.
  • To lead from self-trust, not self-abandonment.
  • To thrive in softness and still get things done.

This isn’t a departure from who my professional reputation, it’s a deepening of who I truly am. And I’m offering it at a critical time for women everywhere. We can cancel business as usual.

If it resonates, you’re already part of the shift.

If you’re ready to thrive in softness, operate in authenticity, and leverage your leadership skills, set up a free 20-minute consultation.
