I love teaching.

A couple of years ago I was teaching a 9am in-person class and we all showed up tired and just not really feeling the class. Since I begin each class with a question of the day, I asked my students what the song was that gets them moving or shifts their mood.

One of my students said, “Let’s Get Married remix by Jagged Edge”. I logged on to YouTube and let the video play.

The student ran up to the screen and went live filing herself dancing to the video.

The energy in the room elevated.

When the video ended, we all sat down and got to work.

We had a great class session.

One of the ways you can leverage your social work degree is to teach the next generation of social workers. One of the questions I’ve been asked several times over the last couple of months is ‘how do I become an adjunct professor’.

If you are wondering how your current skills and experience qualify you to become an adjunct professor this video is for you.

Grab a pen. I’ve listed your homework in the video.
