This is the first video in an August 2024 career development series inspired by my popular LinkedIn post that had 77 reactions, 92 comments, and 188 shares at the time the video was posted.
Will my nearly 3 decades of professional experience fit more neatly into the mezzo or macro social work box? I have no desire to fit neatly into any box, actually!
The boxes and labels are limiting, yet social workers still love them. They are like safety blankets that no longer offer comfort and safety. I digress!

I have a 27-year career in human services which includes 24 years in training and workshop facilitation, 17 years in management, 10 years in higher education, and host of other professional experiences has solidified by expertise in Career Development, Professional Development, and Organizational Development.
