While you are scooping up those amazing Black Friday deals will you pick up a purse or toiletries for our Pack A Purse™ Drive?
Our 9th Annual Pack A Purse™ Drive began on November 1, 2015 and ends December 5, 2015. We are collecting purses (totes, and other handbags) filled with personal hygiene items for teen girls in foster homes, group homes, and homeless shelters.
Only new and gently used purses will be accepted.
New personal hygiene items needed include: toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, hand sanitizer, deodorant, soap, lotion, powder, shampoo, conditioner, shaving items, and lip balm.
Volunteers are invited to our Purse Packing Party on Saturday, December 12, 2015. We are still in need of a FREE location in the DC area for our Purse Packing Party. Purses will be delivered before Christmas Day. Volunteers needed.
Since 2007, we have collected and delivered 2,972 purses to 43 organizations.
