RECAP Career Tip Tuesday with Nicki Sanders 5/9/23: Attend The Workshop
Are any of these things true for you?
You have multiple personal and professional responsibilities.
There is a lot going on – in your home, community, workplace, and the world.
Hair done, nails done, everything did.
Missing the relaxation of your last beach vacation.
Here’s what I know for sure:
- Women are working inside and outside the home and collectively we are exhausted.
- Self-care is a lifestyle, not a just bubble bath, massage or mani/pedi.
- It’s dangerous to be the strong friend all the time.
If you are like me and have decided on a more holistic approach to wellness, attend the workshop.
You Can’t Pour From An Empty Cup: Self-Love, Self-Care, and Self-Preservation workshop has been extended to a 2-hour workshop so we don’t have to rush and we give ourselves more time to examine, process, and support.
Why are we focusing on 3 areas instead of one in the workshop?
Because I want this workshop to be a catalyst for transformation, not a band-aid for a life that is literally draining the life out of you. Because we are whole humans and our personal and professional lives impact each other. I want you to embrace wellness as a woman, not just as an employee or entrepreneur.
I have been there and done that and I’m working through the wounds I have to show for it. Here are 3 quick examples of what happened when I neglected each area:
- Self-Love: Getting hurt on the job by doing something that I should not have tried to do alone.
- Self-Care: Praying for a red light on my way home from work so I could “rest my eyes” for a few seconds.
- Self-Preservation: Dreams about my staff invading my sleep.
Can your life and career use a refresh?
If you are ready to examine what you do, why you do it, and if it is serving you or blocking you on your path to your next level attend the workshop.
If you want the support of sisters who see you, hear you, and understand you, attend the workshop.
If you are ready to prioritize your own mental health and overall wellness, attend the workshop.
