I closed out September which was Self-Improvement Month and Self-Care Awareness Month with the first You Can’t Pour from An Empty Cup: Self-Love, Self-Care and Self-Preservation for Working Women virtual workshop. It was amazing!

If you missed it, no worries, because I am setting the date for the next virtual workshop, and you can also bring the workshop onsite to you and your sisters. Yes, you can bring self-love, self-care, and self-preservation to the women in your world because what I know for sure is that women are always working – whether inside or outside of the home – and women are giving so much of themselves that they are exhausted. Yes, this workshop is curated for all women.

Want more details on the workshop? Here you go:

Many women in are wearing multiple hats in the home and on the job. The mental and emotional wellness of women is just as important as the mental and emotional wellness of the loved ones they nurture daily. Exhaustion, overwhelm, and frustration do not have to be a part of our ongoing story. Women in our post-pandemic world are experiencing higher levels of professional burnout and compassion fatigue which often results in new depths of self-doubt, self-sabotage, and self-sacrifice. I admit that it can be hard to prioritize yourself and your wellness when you are so focused on helping others, however, doing so is essential. It is time we disconnect our work from our worth, recognize that being overworked is not a badge of honor, and operate in the certainty that we are enough.

Participants in this interactive presentation will:

  1. Center their personal and professional needs
  2. Honor their unique paths
  3. Define social work career success for themselves
  4. Prioritize their wellness
