One of my favorite entrepreneurship books ‘Making a Living Without a Job: Winning Ways for Creating Work That You Love’ is by Barbara Winter. I attended Barbara’s workshop decades ago and recommended her book for years to almost every budding entrepreneur I encountered.

Yes, even social workers who are not interested in running businesses of their own can benefit from Barbara’s encouragement to do work that you love and the stories of entrepreneurs acknowledging their desires, taking stock of their skills and experiences, and pursuing their dreams.

REMINDER: Social work skills are highly transferable, high-income skills

I was going to recommend ‘Making A Living Without A Job’ as a Motivation Monday resource but felt Barbara deserved a bit more recognition. She passed away last year but her legacy lives on.
