I Don’t Want To Work On Mondays

Words are powerful.

I am a person who speaks it and sees it, which is why I am focusing more intentionally on being specific with my desires and requests.

Over the last week, I have also looked back at my journals and the things I’ve written have come to fruition. Another reason to be more intentional about the things that I want.

I don’t want to work on Mondays. I’ve been saying this for years and lately, I’ve realized that my mind and body are following my words. A couple of weeks ago I said I was contemplating changes to the blog schedule after ending Cupcakes and Conversations with Nicki Sanders on July 31st.

I don’t want to work in the month of August until the first day of classes if I am still teaching. I am willing to work as an adjunct professor starting the last week of August – I think at least for the next couple of years.

I don’t want to work during the month of December unless it is for our Annual Holiday Pack A Purse Drive. I want to have a specific location dedicated to Pack A Purse Drive. This location will allow me to accept and house donations all year long and provide the space where we can host our holiday Annual Purse Packing Party. The location will also allow teen girls to come in and “shop” for purses as well as allow agencies to come in and pick up donations throughout the year – not just in December. That is my desire and goal.

I want to dedicate my focus and work in March to National Social Work Month and take the first 3 weeks of April off to celebrate my birthday.

I want a travel lifestyle – not a life that I need a vacation from. I want travel to be a regular part of my life – not just a two-week vacation. I want to earn money from any place in the world with a computer and wifi. I want a location-independent business as well as other traditional businesses. The world is my classroom. The world is my office. The world is my playground.
