I Finally Leveled Up and Made the Commitment!

Anyone who knows me personally knows that I have wanted to live on a farm since I was a little girl. I was born and raised in the city and moved to the suburbs as an adult, but farm life has always been the goal. I love grass and trees and being outside where I can hear birds sing and see cute little (harmless) critters run by. Cities and suburbs are too noisy and crowded for me and as much as I want to move to the country to get away from people, moving to the country will allow me to serve more people more authentically.

Although my personal mission and philosophy is to empower, teach, and connect, most people only know part of my farm dream. I’ve rarely shared the true intention of my pursuit of 100 acres. One hundred acres of farmland will allow me to bring all my passions, issues I care about, and dreams together. Achievement of this goal means connecting the dots of my purpose – family, community, education, social work, workforce development, business, economic security, sustainability, and overall health and wellness.

If you had asked me 5 years ago if my dream was negotiable I would have said ‘absolutely not’. But you know what, it absolutely was – I just hadn’t realized it. The dream was crystal clear. I knew exactly what I wanted but I had not discovered what I needed and deserved. The farm dream is bigger than me, but it is also for me. I deserve to live my dreams as much as the people I want to support and serve deserve to live theirs. My “why” is for me and them, but it starts with me and is no longer negotiable. I leveled up my thinking and finally made the commitment to my dream.

I’m so committed that I am ready to share with the world that my business empire includes:

  • A nonprofit organization that honors my grandparents
  • Shared homes for active seniors
  • Tiny houses for traveling nurses and social workers
  • Transitional living program for 18-24-years-olds
  • Training academy for 16–24-year-olds
  • A resource center for college students and youth who have aged out of foster care
  • Community garden
  • Special events center
  • Family enrichment center
  • Coworking space

If you know someone that I should connect with or have a resource you want to share I will gladly accept.  It’s GO time!

Mindset really is the first key to success. My farm, business, and family life are on the way, and I am open and ready to receive and welcome them. I am no longer held back by trying to figure out how and when, I am walking in the faith that it all will manifest. I am grateful that they are en route to me. I am confident that by taking inspired action and limiting any limiting beliefs, my dreams will come true and my goals will be achieved. My shift has happened, but the level-up is ongoing.

What are you committed to?

  1. Make yourself your priority.
  2. Dream big.
  3. Believe bigger.

If you want to increase your confidence, decrease negative thoughts, and carve out the career path that is perfectly aligned with your values, goals, and skills I have something for you.
