In both my personal and professional lives, I have encountered countless teenagers and young adults who graduate unprepared for life on their own, parents and youth workers unable to give teens essential tools needed to thrive, and women who wake up one day and realize that they have put their dreams on hold and isn’t sure what to do next. I have experienced a life of unconditional love, support and stability, yet, I have been the under-resourced person in each scenario I just described. My challenges have made me stronger and more committed to living my best life.
