Part of my mission as a Social Work Career Empowerment Coach, hiring manager, and internship supervisor is to dismantle the outdated, narrow view of social work so that social workers are empowered to believe they can do an abundance of things with their social work degrees and education. That social work skills are highly transferable, high-income skills and you don’t have to leave the social work profession to do work that you love, be paid well, or be your best self in the workplace.
