It’s officially OFFICIAL!
Today is the day I get to share what I’ve been holding in since early 2014. I am returning to my alma mater, Trinity Washington University, as an Adjunct Professor this fall. I am teaching a Special Topics in Human Relations course focused on career development to college juniors and seniors who are planning to become Human Services Professionals after graduation.
Upon completion of this course students my will:
• Understand how individual skills, values, interests, and experiences affect career development and career options
• Understand characteristics of the work environment and its impact on individuals and families
• Learn about and use a variety of information resources to explore occupational options and enhance job hunting skills
• Set career goals and develop a career action plan
This is absolutely a dream come true for me and another item from my life list achieved.
Nicki Sanders, Chief Visionary Officer of Packaged For Success, helps both youth and adults discover their personal power, dream big, and achieve success on their own terms. Ms. Sanders is an experienced trainer, group facilitator, and program manager who holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. Ms. Sanders has over fifteen years of direct experience with diverse populations in residential, school-based, and community based agencies.
