R – Results – Be solution focused and produce results. If you want to have a successful career you must be able to get the job done and do it well. Be willing to do work beyond your job description. 

E – Enthusiasm – Enjoy the journey. Do work that you believe in and that inspires you so that you can maintain momentum and stay true to your personal values.

T – Tenacity – Be willing to work hard. There will be unexpected twists and turns on your career journey. Exercise patience, never stop learning, and stay the course. Don’t give up.

C – Communication – Good communication is essential. You must be able to get along and collaborate with your supervisor and coworkers and also share your ideas and advocate for yourself if you want to progress in your career.

H – Hope – Believe you can succeed. If you allow negativity to sink in you will bring yourself down along with those around you. Make a concerted effort to remain hopeful and positive.
