Since 2007, JaMai Sanders has organized the Annual Pack A Purse Drive™. Due to generous donors and amazing volunteers, we have collected and delivered 7,101 purses (plus hundreds of wallets and cosmetic bags) to 64 organizations over 12 holiday seasons (2007-2018). We couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you!
13th Annual Pack A Purse Drive™
November 1, 2019 – December 3, 2019
Collecting purses (totes and other handbags) filled with personal hygiene items for teen girls in foster homes, group homes, and homeless shelters.
- Only new and very gently used purses will be accepted.
- Only new personal hygiene items accepted.
- No clothing or shoes accepted.
The personal hygiene items we are requesting aretoothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, lotion, soap, and individually wrapped feminine hygiene items. We are also accepting lip gloss, shampoo, conditioner and hand sanitizer.
Are You Traveling For The Holidays?
If you are traveling this Thanksgiving? Do you use hotel toiletries or bring your own? We are accepting new and unopened hotel toiletries for our annual Pack A Purse Drive™.
Black Friday Shopping
If you love and a good holiday deal and have already begun writing your Black Friday shopping list, we welcome the addition of our annual Pack A Purse Drive™. There are great sales on personal hygiene items happening.

Drop off donations and/or volunteer. Volunteers are needed to help us inspect, sort, fill, count, and pack purses. We also need volunteers to help set up and clean up. Children and families are welcomed.
Nicki Sanders, MSW, is a travel and cupcake lover with a passion for self-discovery and career advancement. She has an extensive background in developing and managing multi-disciplinary teams and successful internship programs.
