Positive youth development means youth are fully prepared not problem free. Many adults are unable (yes, some are also unwilling) to provide young people with the specific kinds of knowledge and resources they need to thrive. A strong support system is essential to success.

- 53%of 18-24 year-olds have never moved out of or have returned to their parent’s homes

The absence of healthy relationships, marketable work skills, employment cultural awareness, and profitable professional connections leaves many teens and young adults struggling economically, emotionally, and professionally. The mission of The Teen Toolbox is to help teens make a smoother transition into adulthood and both teenagers and young adults prepare for life on their own. Our workshops, seminars, and products make the transition to independent living less scary and stressful. And remember, we also train caring adults on strategies to engage, connect, and motivate teens and young adults.
