“If you want to soar, you have to give up what’s weighing you down.”

My Word of the Year for 2022 is elevation. As I prepare for 2023, I am reflecting on how I was guided by elevation this year. Here are the 3 questions I’m using to evaluate and analyze my year.

What does elevation mean to me?

Elevation to me means letting go of and leaving behind the people, places, and things that no longer serve me as I journey to my next personal and professional level. Elevation to me means moving beyond my comfort zone and status quo. Elevation to me means being available for new, next, and necessary.

How did I experience elevation this year?

My greatest experiences with elevation were internal – in my heart and mind. How I interpreted and analyzed situations. How I released past experiences. How my desires for more and different increased in intensity and frequency.

What lessons did elevation teach me this year?

Elevation has definitely led me to more focus and intention. I believe that I have practiced more successful self-discipline this year and my manifestations have also been elevated. Truthfully, I am still getting downloads of the lessons learned as I reflect on my year.

Did you choose a word of the year for 2022?

What is it? What does it mean to you? How did you experience it? What lessons did it teach you this year?
