As an anxious high school senior, I contemplated whether to become a teacher or a social worker – the only two professional careers I though were available to me.  A community service project was the determining factor in pursuing social work.  My career has allowed me to pursue and merge social work and teaching in various ways.

Nicki Sanders is an experienced professional with two decades of work experience that includes social service, education, community outreach, and training.

  • I am an undergraduate and graduate first-generation college student who understands the challenges of being a nontraditional college student.
